Congress Approves Funding for DSRTF
December 2004

Congress approved $150,000 in funding for DSRTF in its Omnibus Appropriations bill for fiscal year 2005. The funding will go directly for Down syndrome cognition research.

"DSRTF is very appreciative of this funding," said Executive Director Hollye Doane. "We thank Congressman Sessions, the Labor/HHS Subcommittee, and the House Leadership for their help in getting this line-item funding in the bill."
